ASC: Vegan Cooking Class

ASC held a Vegan Cooking Class on 20th of April 2017 at the Design Factory on the Aalto Otaniemi campus. The goal of the event is to familiarize people of all diets to vegan cooking. For many, it can be seen as a difficult task to make a vegan meal, but through events like these, ASC hopes to tear down the barriers to plant-based diets. Eating less meat and embracing plant-based diets can be a great way to have a positive impact on the planet. Overall, the event was a great success!

Guests broke up into teams and were coached through the cooking of a three-course meal including lightly salted kale chips, lentil meatloaf, soy sauce broccoli stir fry, and sweet potato chocolate brownie with avocado icing. All teams successfully cooked their food and in the process made some new friends!
