Harvesting More Than Just Ideas

Yesterday marked the first Test Site planning meeting of the academic year. It was a time to reflect on the progress made so far and to look ahead to opportunities for collaboration with the new students.  The group discussed what went well and what well wrong this year which included struggles with planning over the summer months.

Since the first Test Site planning meeting in January a lot of ideas have come to life. The Test Site is now home to a thriving permaculture garden, a solar disk, an ecosoap making studio, a ‘Pee-osk’ and more! Building a communal shelter is the next task on the list.

A top priority is encouraging new students to get involved. Anybody is welcome to join the Test Site by proposing a new idea and or helping out with an existing one. Please come along to one of our planning meetings or building days!
