Product lifetimes are a core issue for strategies concerning resource efficiency, waste reduction and climate change. In recent years, the topic has come to the forefront of current political, scientific & societal debates due to its interconnectedness with a number of prominent movements like Circular Economy, collaborative consumption, DIY and maker communities and eco-design.
The 3rd PLATE conference (Product Lifetimes and the Environment) will take place 18 – 20 September 2019 in Berlin, organised by Fraunhofer IZM in cooperation with Technische Universität Berlin.
