Conflicts caused by people can be solved by people. But what does it take

to ensure peace? How can we create open dialogue?

 You are warmly welcome to join us at this year’s Ahtisaari Days, 15 November,

at Aalto University to meet Nobel Peace Laureate and President Martti

Ahtisaari. A panel discussion in English on possibilities to design peace will

follow, featuring experts on water management, social computing, and

collaborative design, as well as CMI Chairman of the Board Alexander Stubb.

Ahtisaari Days is held yearly in November to help young people learn and practice

conflict resolution, peace mediation and reconciliation. This year’s host city is Espoo and

the public event, open to all, will be held at Aalto University.
