Invitation for Seminar on sustainable opportunities on global scale on 14 May 2013

Aalto Global Impact (AGI) brings together inspirational speakers from business, civil society and academia in an international seminar “Co-creating sustainable opportunities for all” on the 14th May. Key topics tackle mitigating problems of runaway urbanization, transforming existing business models, promoting social entrepreneurship and building competencies for a sustainable future. The speakers include Mugendi M’Rithaa, Professor of Industrial Design (Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa), Tim N’Dezi, Director of Centre for Community Initiatives (Tanzania), representatives from Finnish companies and Creative Sustainability students from Aalto University. The seminar is hosted by AGI together with Creative Sustainability (CS) programme and moderated by Professor Alastair Fuad-Luke from School of Arts, Design and Architecture. Aalto Global Impact is a strategic initiative by Aalto University supporting the university’s mission to change the world for a better place.
